Booking Terms & Conditions

1.Bookings & payment

Your booking and our agreement take effect when you book and pay for a lesson, workshop or event. Fees are payable in Hong Kong dollars. You’ll receive a confirmation once your payment has been processed.

2.Reduced-price classes

Our Squad / JR Swimming Team lessons and Harrow staff kids’ lessons are offered at a reduced price and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3.Group class (Squad) — cancellation & make-up

Each missed group class can be made up — there is no cap on the number of make-ups. To cancel, please tell us at least 24 hours in advance by email, phone or WhatsApp to the coach. Once accepted, we issue a make-up voucher, usable within 10 days to book any available group class (again with at least 24 hours’ notice).

Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are not accepted, except for medical reasons with a doctor’s certificate. If we cancel a class (for example pool closure or coach absence), we will arrange a make-up where possible, or issue a credit or refund.

4.Private class — cancellation

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel a private lesson; you will receive a Credit Voucher towards your next lesson. You can reschedule by WhatsApp with at least one day’s notice. A lesson booked using a Credit Voucher cannot be changed or cancelled. In exceptional cases (for example sudden illness) the 48-hour notice is waived on presentation of a valid doctor’s note, and a Credit Voucher is still issued.

5.Private group lessons (1:2, 1:3)

For private group lessons, if one student cancels but the others wish to continue, the cancelling student receives a Credit Voucher equal to 50% of the fee.

6.Make-up classes

Each missed class may be made up once only. Please avoid changing a booked make-up — we cannot guarantee a further one if the booked make-up is missed. Classes booked with a Credit Voucher cannot be changed or cancelled.

7.Venues & club rules

Some lessons take place at private clubs, each with its own rules. Where a venue or club has its own policies, those policies apply and take precedence over ours, so please read them when you register. We may cancel a course if there is insufficient enrolment; where possible we will offer a place in a similar course, or a refund.

8.Bad-weather arrangement

If Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or the Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force, classes scheduled that day are cancelled and a Credit Voucher is issued (refundable at the end of term if you prefer). Under the Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning, classes proceed as scheduled unless we tell you otherwise; if a class is cancelled, a make-up is offered. We may also cancel a class if a venue is unsafe due to severe weather, with a Credit Voucher issued.

9.Safety & liability

We take reasonable care for the safety of everyone at our lessons. Swimming carries inherent risks, and to the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for loss, injury or damage that is outside our reasonable control or that results from not following safety instructions. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Hong Kong law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). In a medical emergency, your child will be taken to the nearest public hospital via the Hong Kong Government’s emergency services.

10.Supervision & pool rules

A parent or caregiver must be present and actively supervise at every lesson — children must not be dropped off and left. The pool area is supervised only during structured lessons, so please do not let children remain there before or after. For everyone’s safety, there is no jumping, running or diving unless a staff member allows it, and please follow all staff directions and signs.

11.General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. If any part is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown on this page applies to your booking. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Hong Kong law.
